“I can't keep up... you're always somewhere new”

I hear this often, and it's made me wonder what it is about traveling that pulls me in so deeply. Why do I love to travel so much… why do I want to go to those far away places in the middle of nowhere, or dream of traveling to countries I’ve only seen in photos? I know everyone doesn't understand it, but it makes me feel alive. Not everyone wants to live out of a suitcase, or spend hours on planes, but to me the experiences are all worth it. I could sit on a mountain staring at the scenery around me all day.

Traveling changes my perspective... it gives me the chance to explore God's beautiful masterpiece, it allows me to be alone with my thoughts and to slow down, it forces me to experience new things, it pushes me to be creative, it reminds me that there are people living very differently to me, it helps me realize how small I am, it makes me feel lost and alive at the same time, it gives me memories that will last forever, and I don't want to look back and regret that I didn't explore as much of this beautiful world as possible.

I grew up traveling and it’s always been a part of my life. I now live in Arkansas with my wonderful husband, Luke, and our little Cocker Spaniel, Sophie. We love planning trips and are no stranger to airports. While my favorite things are the outdoors and going on adventures, Luke loves to find the best golf courses wherever we are! I started this blog to document our travels, but also to inspire others to see more of the world and to dream bigger.

Thanks for stopping by my little space on the internet... I’m so happy to have you following along!
